Our widgets began to venture out into the wild near the end of the last week, and they seem to be doing just fine!
We set up a live feed page for CreativeTechNet - a technology event in New Zealand.
Our widget automatically pulled all the Snapr photos taken in the conference area. Turned out to be a nice hassle free way to pull in a live stream of photos! We put a Twitter widget in too - so people could tweet from Snapr and their message and shot would show up side by side.
Our friends at Master Mouse Patrol have also added a widget to their site and will be trialing our Media RSS feed for their iPhone app.
Big shout to Drew at brokenclock.net, one of our early users from Melbourne who has been shooting a lot of street art around his neighborhood and let us put a widget into the side bar of his blog.
So if you would like to try a widget for your site or event please do give us a yell, we will be happy to help you out!
A super easy widget creation interface will find its way onto the site as part of our v2 UI, we will tidy up the Wordpress plugin we have written and put it out there, and of course if you are one of those clever people you could probably just grab the embed code by viewing the source on this page!
